This week primarily involved development in the area of conference chats. Conference chats allow more than two people to chat at the same time, and this is something that Yahoo! Messenger supports. Near the end of the week, my plug-in was able to handle conference invites, create conferences, invite other people to conferences, and send/receive conference chat messages. So the base support is there, but now I have to clean up the rough edges and ensure robustness in my code.
My goal for next week is to complete work on conference chats, and to start working more on the plug-in options that will be implemented. I am very happy that I am ahead of schedule, and thanks to my mentor Patrick, and everyone else in the IRC, I am able to continue at a steady pace.
